Dr Jenna Gregory discusses the role of the gut in genetic ALS

The gut has been established as having early involvement in Parkinson's disease. Dr Jenna Gregory has been researching this same avenue in ALS and her and her lab have published on TDP-43 aggregates in the gut. Recently they have begun work funded by Target ALS on establishing more precise biomarkers for the early, presymptomatic identification of ALS. These remarks will be specifically for a Genetic ALS & FTD audience.
